Veriton 265 - SD card problem
When I insert an SD card into the SD slot on the computer tower I don't get any response. I have tried clicking each of the disc drive icons in My Computer, but this doesn't work and I get a message that Windows Explorer isn't responding. Can anybody suggest a solution please? Do I need a new driver/ SC card reader of some sort?

Why is my Xeon workstation P330-F2 running slower than my core-i7?
Hi,
Does anyone experience a P330-F2 workstation class Acer with 32GB RAM and Quadro-2000 run slower than a cheap Core-i7 with 16GB RAM and GeForce 7xx card?
I am running ZBrush digital sculpting software and it is very slow compared to doing it on my Core-i7, and I got this Xeon workstation specifically to do heavy stuff like ZBrush 3D.

How to disablet Hyper hreading
How to Disable Hyper Threading Acer Extensa M2610
I need to disable the CPU Hyper Threading on this computer ,
On the BIos there is no setting do disable it, the CPU its on i3 .
I installed the latest Bios version but i get the same problem , no Hyper threading control .
Is there any way to disable it ??

Acer Veriton M2611 No Display
I have 03 Acer Veriton M2611 Destop Computers. All come with OEM Windows 8 Pro x64. I booted the computers with UEFI USB disk, formatted the C: Partition and Installed Windows 10. Then I changed the Boot Order to Windows Boot Manager in BIOS and restart the computer. Now all 3 computers have No Display, NO Post and can not enter to the BIOS. Please help me with this issue.

Veriton X490G BSOD after RAM upgrade
Hi!
So after installing the new 4GB stick of ram, windows kept on restarting every time I boot it. I've tried booting into safe mode and launching start-up repair but it always ending up in BSOD. Please note that I'm only booting with the new ram.
When I put back my 2gb ram everything starts normally and there was no problem. So i'm thinking my culprit is the new 4gb. Here is the specs of the new ram: Kingston 4GB PC3-12800 CL11 240Pin DIMM, Part number: KVR16N11S8/4
I wanted to try changing the memory settings in BIOS but there was none. I'm only seeing the basic options in bios and there was no option to set the memory timings, etc. etc.
I'm wondering why there was no settings for it because in my other motherboard there are options to change the timings of the memory.
I'm also thinking of updating the bios of the motherboard but I can't find any for this acer motherboard. I hope someone could lead me where I can download the latest bios updates.

Veriton M2116g shuts down by itelf
A third party installed an Acer Veriton M2116g as our voicemail server. It'd powered off by itself, I had to troubleshoot it remotely and had my client take it to Best Buy to have them install a new power supply. Put it back into production and it did the same thing. I finally got my hands on it and am seeing error messages related to Power-Kernal and Googled error message and it's related to the CPU overheating. This chassis is very clean, lots of space, the CPU fan is working fine so it doesn't appear to be obstructed fan on CPU or power supply. The environment it was being used in has fine AC. I put it on my bench this AM and powered it up and 20 mins in it started acting up; shutting down, rebooting to Safe Mode then it can't even get into Windows. Unplugged to let it "cool" down and to boot up later and review the logs to see if it's a Power-Kernal issue or the like. Once it's back up, I'll see if I can use Windows 7 Pro to update the driver on the CPU. My IT lab is pretty chilly so not sure how it can "overheat".
If anyone else or Acer has heard or experienced this and have a resolution, please H E L P !!

Veriton N4620G mini desktop: Which ones are the USB 3 ports?
- Hi - I've had the tiny black mini desktop Veriton N4620G for several years or more now, this one here: http://www.ilonggotechblog.com/2013/08/acer-veriton-n4620g-a-diminutive-space-saving-desktop.html I've never been able to determine which ones are the USB 3 ports and which ones are the USB 2 ports. There are two USB ports in the front and I guess four in the back or so, I never even use the ones in the back. I've also never been able to find anything online which tells you exactly which is which. So, if anyone could tell me for sure which are the 3.0 and which are the 2.0 I'd appreciate that, and if anyone can link to any difinitive information about that online that would be great too. Thanks.

questions on what DOS FREE systems are?????????????????
I have attached a couple screenshots here but I see that several of the desktop systems advertise the OS as "FREE DOS". What exactly does this mean? What OS will a model like this accept? I am assuming something other than Windows?
